Interview Coaching

When meeting with a prospective employer, every detail of your appearance is important. Dress neatly and conservatively.

Communicate clearly and politely. Your interview starts the moment you set foot on company property, so be respectful to everyone you encounter.

Do not make the mistake of being too casual or overly confident. No matter how well-qualified you may be, you still have to sell yourself to the employer.

Bring at least two copies of your resume to the interview, along with copies of references and any other supporting documents.

Never say anything derogatory about a previous employer - even if the interviewer says something negative first.

Practice answers to possible interview questions in advance so that you aren't taken by surprise. Be prepared for a behaviour-based interview. In this scenario, you'll want to reply giving context, action, and a clear result whenever possible.

Have some questions ready for the interviewer. Research the company in detail before the interview.
